BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Board of Directors

Dr. Reik Winkel

Executive Officer

Reik founded indurad in 2008 after 5 years of applied R&D work in open cast lignite and underground coal mining at Peabody Energy in Australia and Weatherford in Norway. Reik questioned why operators in the mining industry are left controlling machines worth millions of dollars unaided, whereas the driver of a mid-class car has plenty of assistance. With the compiled knowledge of the maritime industry and automotive radar technology, he and his team developed a 360° radar solution for the mining industry.

Dr. Christian Augustin

Managing Director

Christian is an entrepreneur at heart. He co-founded indurad in 2008 and began performing business development work and commissioning jobs around the globe for the company. In 2017 he founded the indurad spinoff, Yardeye, repurposing indurad’s technologies to innovate intermodal terminals and currently serves as its managing director.
In March 2021, Christian assumed the role of managing director of indurad at the Aachen HQ, overseeing the general strategy to grow indurad’s business worldwide.
