Dr. Reik Winkel | Executive Officer Reik founded indurad in 2008 after 5 years of applied R&D work in open cast lignite and underground coal mining at Peabody Energy in Australia and Weatherford in Norway. Reik questioned why operators in the mining industry are left controlling machines worth millions of dollars unaided, whereas the driver of a mid-class car has plenty of assistance. With the compiled knowledge of the maritime industry and automotive radar technology, he and his team developed a 360° radar solution for the mining industry. |

Dr. Christian Augustin | Managing Director Christian is an entrepreneur at heart. He co-founded indurad in 2008 and began performing business development work and commissioning jobs around the globe for the company. In 2017 he founded the indurad spinoff, Yardeye, repurposing indurad’s technologies to innovate intermodal terminals and currently serves as its managing director. In March 2021, Christian assumed the role of managing director of indurad at the Aachen HQ, overseeing the general strategy to grow indurad’s business worldwide. |

Klaus Michel | Chief Financial Officer Klaus joined indurad in January 2020 as a financial analyst. He was then appointed as Chief Financial Officer in October 2020. He holds a master’s degree in Banking and Finance from the Luxembourg School of Finance and an Executive Program Diploma from NYU. His key areas of work include company valuation, financial due diligence, and M&A advisory. |

Markus Dülks | Chief Operating Officer Markus joined indurad in April 2021 as Chief Operating Officer to support indurad’s ambitious growth plan and ability to deliver sold projects worldwide. He is a results-oriented operational professional with 17 years of experience in the energy and automotive industries. He holds a master’s degree in engineering and an MBA. He participated in the leadership program at Harvard Business School. |

Gereon Hüwe | VP Administration & Supply Chain Management Gereon is an economist by profession. In 2012, he joined indurad as a Sales Manager. He focused on developing the North American market in cooperation with a distribution partner. In 2016, he began managing indurad’s administration as Vice President. He has been the Head of Production since 2018 and now manages indurad’s complete supply chain. |

Fabian Riedel | VP Sales & Projects Fabian is a mining engineer by profession. Since joining indurad in 2018, he has been tasked with developing the sales organization and integrating the project implementation team into one cohesive department. He is focusing on strategic market development. His operational experience includes most notably his position as General Manager of the Thaba Cronimet Chrome Mine in South Africa. |

Dr. Timo Minartz | VP Software Development Timo is a computer scientist who joined indurad in 2014 as a senior software engineer and has been heading the software development department since 2019. He has taken over several roles in engineering and project management within indurad throughout his time with the company. He earned his Ph.D. in High Performance Computing at the University of Hamburg. |

Dr. Jan Schöneberg | VP Product Development Jan joined indurad in 2020 after completing his doctoral research at RWTH Aachen University. He is a mechanical engineer with a strong background in product development. His work focuses on developing and qualifying the company’s hardware products, optimizing quality assurance and standardizing product development to meet customer expectations for indurad products now and in future. |

Dr. Matthias Rabel | VP R&D Matthias is responsible for the company’s radar and RTLS sensor development. He conducts tests for different use cases focused on Robust Autonomous Operation of Mining Machinery within innovative lead projects. His field of expertise includes data and ad hoc networks for use in vehicles, as well as work on emission and immunity of such networks. He joined indurad in 2010 and established the sensor development department. |

Hannah Stock | VP IT Department Hannah joined indurad in 2009 as a software developer and acquired broad experience by working in early flagship projects closely with customers. As head of software development, she helped lay the groundwork of how indurad develops solutions today. Her role is now focused on optimizing the internal IT landscape, providing tailored solutions for the company’s specific workflows. |
